Battery Intelligence
Data processing, computational algorithms and research software for battery intelligence at Surrey's Advanced Technology Institute.
Advanced Battery Intelligence and Technology Development
Since September 2026, I have worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Surrey, working with Dr Kai Yang at the Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) on an EPSRC IAA battery intelligence project.
Project context
The project brings together electrochemical experimentation, sensing and characterisation, research databases, computational algorithms and data-driven modelling to support battery diagnostics and predictive analysis.
Its broader scope includes research software, AI-powered agents and applications for data analysis, workflow automation and decision-making, alongside experimental validation and integration of data and computational tools.
My contribution
My work focuses on data processing, algorithm development and research software workflows:
- Processing and organising experimental datasets for computational analysis.
- Contributing to computational algorithms and data-driven research workflows.
- Developing research software to support analysis and workflow automation.
This ongoing work extends my data-driven engineering research to battery intelligence and connects computational methods with experimental research needs.
